Hi Ben. Congratulations of your marriage and fancy it's a Western District girl. Can't do better than that! I have not come across a photo of Joseph Harman yet and I think I would be pretty lucky, but I will not give up the search. Merron

Thanks for your comment Ben. It's great to hear from a direct descendent of Walt and Lydia and a cousin (4th cousin x 1 removed). I am always a bit envious of descendants of Walt & Lydia as they have such a great story and a rich history in the Omeo/Ensay area. Henry too, left plenty of history behind. I'm sure all their future descendants will be proud of their pioneering spirit. I hope they also remember their strong links to the Western District through the Harman and Poynton lines.

I am Geoff Harmans son Ben, my grandfathers name was Lindsay, his fathers name was Henry, and his fathers name was Walter. That gives you part of the rest of the tree. I'm sure that when my niece and my cousins children get older ( they will be Walters GGG grandchildren), they will be fascinated with our family history.

Thanks Kerryn. I'm pretty lucky to have them. I wish some of my tree's other branches were just as fruitful!
