Mary Caroline Lennox is a little more difficult. Have you seen the death record on Ancestry for Mary Smith b 1881 d 1923 Geelong f: Thomas Lennox m: Mary Liddle (sic)?

Thanks Capt james donaldson liddell had a rich and varied history but I can find nothing on his daughter mary and little on his granddaughter Mary caroline!!!!..it is driving me mad.

I don’t have anything specific on either people, but I did notice something on Captain Liddell at Trove while I was do some research this week. I will go back and have a look to see what I can find.

Do oyu have any history on John McDonald, son of james and Mary mcdonald of Glenormiston who was one of the first children born in this district in 1841,,also of Cpt Liddell who sailed the henty’s into portland and his child Mary Liddell who was born in new zeland but settled around terang?
